Professor of the Industrial Engineering and Management course receives european award in lean management

The European Lean Managers Society awarded Auchan Retail Portugal with the third prize of LEAN ICON 2020, regarding a process improvement project in the retail sector coordinated by Pedro Alexandre Marques, Assistant Professor of the Faculty of Engineering of Lusófona University. The initiative contributed to enhance the productivity of the in-store replenishment process in the fresh food markets and increase the order fulfilment rate of the E-commerce business.
